In 1997 a group of scientists traveled to Patagonia in Argentina to search for fossils of birds. Instead, they found themselves surrounded by fossils of another kind?dinosaur eggs! The fossils were scattered over many acres, but in some places, the ground was so densely covered, the scientists couldn?t even walk without stepping on the fragile remains. They soon realized they were standing in the middle of what had been dinosaur nesting grounds. The scientists set up for a full investigation of the area.
