Jill comes to TeachingBooks after ten years in higher education. She earned a PhD in children's literature from the University of Florida, where she taught an array of children's and young adult literature courses. Her research specialty is in fairy tale retellings and contemporary revisions of Golden Age children's literature, which means she is always ready with thoughts about the latest iteration of [Fairy Tale Here]. She's excited to be part of the community at TeachingBooks, where she can work with others who care just as much about reading, literacy, and supporting educators as she does.
