Director of Implementation & Educational Support
Kym Davick's childhood memories include the discovery that a library card allowed her to check out as many books as she could carry home. When told to play outside, a book often went along. She could be found under the shade of a tree, lost within its pages. Thus began Kym's love of reading. After graduating from the UW-Madison in elementary education, she spent the last twenty-six years teaching in public schools. She joins the TeachingBooks staff where she will be able to work with readers of all ages. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and attending musical performances.
A memorable book
from Kym's childhood is
Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.
